ABOUT US

The catalyst to develop Milam Enterprises LLC stemmed from a simple prayer: Lord, Please give me the wisdom to remember every talent that you have ever given me with the courage and strength to act upon those talents for the betterment of those around me. Amen

This prayer has been answered in abundance and with the financial backing, support, and organizational skills of Charity B. Milam, thus Milam Enterprises LLC has been born.

Jimmy Keith Milam has been blessed with the passion to construct from a very early age. This intrigue was cultured from his grandfather, Clarence E. Milam that earned a respected career thru the ranks of Gifford Hill including responsibilities of laborer, oiler, drag-line operator, General Foreman and father. A work ethic was instilled, that rivals no other, by his father, J.D. Milam, with setting the example instilled from depression era farmer parents that included Jimmy Keith in an array of chores from mechanics, fencing, plumbing, electrical and flatwork.

Education swayed young Milam with an aptitude/interests test in 1975 that produced results guiding to the Construction Industry. Many educators attempted to guide Milam away from this builder’s passion but failed. Plano Senior High School offered a Building Trades program and allowed him to earn Outstanding Achievement accolades from Vocational Industrial Clubs of America in 1980. Texas A&M University had one of the best curriculums in the world and he was honored to have graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction in 1987.

Milam Enterprises LLC is an equal opportunity employer and expects its employees to not only be respected but to respect. This organization can teach, can do, as well as can teach and do.
